Muscle pain is an extremely common condition that can severely impact a person’s life – as of 2018, many U.S. workers felt the effects of musculo-skeletal disorders. These disorders can be very detrimental to basic actions as 64 million adults said the their condition hindered their ability to accomplish basic daily tasks. Muscle pain can also cause workers to not be able to complete their jobs and miss days of work. Back pain alone accounted for an average of 12 days of work lost per person each year, accumulating to a staggering 264 million lost days of work due to back pain.
Our muscles can be hurt in a number of ways, some of which are normal and everyday activities. Repetitive use in actions such as typing can lead to muscle tightness and pain in the wrists, hands, and back.
