For example, when you use a virtual receptionist – you are no longer expected to carry out routine administration tasks yourself – meaning you can put your time to better use. This increased efficiency will save you plenty of money in the long run. 
  • Remember that in the early stages of your company, word of mouth is the most effective way to bring in customers. It is the easiest form of promotion – as the only thing you have to focus on is providing your customers with quality/products and services – and they will do the rest of the work for you.
  • Ensure that you spend a great deal of time cultivating a relationship with your customers. By nurturing existing relationships, you will begin to build up a reliable client base of customers who will return time and time again. In order to succeed in business, your company needs to be a brand that customers will return to – as opposed to disappearing after making a one-time purchase. 
  • Network with other businesses in your local area and promote each other across your social media or by hanging signs/posters in store. This is a great way to boost your brand’s visibility – and it doesn’t have to cost you any money at all.
