Protect Your Ears

Take Care Of Your Hands

If you are playing an instrument that uses the hands a lot, then you should take great care to look after those hands as well as you can. Not only are they important for your life in general, but they are something that you rely upon for your career, so you need to make sure that you are really looking after them in whatever way you can. Most musicians know the importance of stretching the fingers before playing the piano, for instance, and it is something that you should really be taking care of as best as you can. In general, an important way to ensure that you are taking care of your body as a musician is to take regular breaks. But in general, you should aim to keep your body intact by not overdoing what you are doing, as that can end up damaging you if you are not careful. This is especially true for instruments that use a lot of the body to work, such as woodwind instruments or singing. As long as you are breaking regularly, you are much more likely to keep your health intact no matter what.
