College is important for many reasons – it’s a time of self-discovery for many people, as well as most young adults’ first time away from home. It’s more than just job training, but it’s also not the only thing you should be doing to train for your job.

A college degree just won’t get you where you need to be all by itself. Many of the skills you need to succeed in a career are not taught in school, leaving a lot of slack for most recent grads to pick up once they graduate.
