Did you know that 21 states have legalized the use of recreational cannabis for adults over the age of 21? What’s more there are 37 states that approve of medical marijuana and CBD products, leaving only 2 states that have not legalized any cannabis products.

The nation is warming up to the idea of legal cannabis which is what has launched the growing rates of legalization across the states. 59% of citizens support medical and recreational cannabis use, and 30% support medical use only. With so many people supporting the use of marijuana, it’s a good thing 44% of Americans live in states with access to legal recreational marijuana.

With the majority of people supporting recreational marijuana, it is expected that even more states will begin legalizing cannabis in the next few years. In fact, it is predicted that 7 new states may approve recreational marijuana by 2030. Even federal bills have been introduced in recent years, leaving prohibitive legislation to go up in smoke.
