In this post pandemic world, with the threat of strains still floating around as at least a pesky reminder of how fragile and susceptible we humans can be, many of us have a heightened desire to do our part to stay healthy.

While this may include things like masks and vaccines, it can and does also involve things like vitamins, minerals, and supplements. One of the most important, yet often neglected, things any of us can do to stay healthy is to take a quality probiotic supplement as part of our daily routine.

Probiotics help to feed the good bacteria in the gut, while inhibiting growth of bad bacteria. Having a healthy gut is actually central to having great overall health, even including mental health in many cases.

Not only does our gut health affect every other system in our bodies, but it also houses 70-80% of our immune cells. While things like a sedentary lifestyle, sugar, and antibiotics have a negative effect on gut health, exercise, healthy diet, and probiotics help to keep our gut clean and healthy. Probiotics supplements should be a top priority for all of us.
