Unintentional shooting by minors resulted in a staggering 242 injuries and154 fatalities just last year. Speaking to the tragedy that these numbers present, a Society for Public Health Education spokesperson stated in a press release, “Injuries are not accidents – they are not random incidents. Injuries have identified risk and protective factors making them preventable”.

This prevention can be pursued in a number of ways, with investing in gun safes, taking gun safety classes, and adding trigger locks to guns as good starting points. In doing so, and with a gun liability insurance plan, you can get paid to prevent it.

Gun liability insurance is gaining government backing, with some California cities legislating this form of coverage as a requirement. In doing so, they augment safe gun practices but also highlight the enormous civil need for doing so. As more legislators follow suit, prevention too will sprout.

Find the safety and serenity that many seek in gun ownership, by seeking gun liability insurance, and with it, join the movement toward prevention and creating a safer firearm economy in America.

Is gun liability insurance required?
