The traditional education system is failing today’s students.  More than 6 million students are “chronically absent” from the classroom every year, and teens today are 5 times more likely to suffer from mental illness than teenagers of prior generations.  Traditional education emphasizes conformity and standardization.  Meanwhile, the most in-demand job skills of 2022 are innovation, initiative, and creativity.  Established schools aren’t meeting the moment.

What is the alternative?  Millions of students tested out online learning for the first time during the pandemic.  While rollout was chaotic and sudden, 57% of students feel more positive about online schooling now than they did prior to 2020.  Professionally designed virtual schools offer students and their families many benefits.  Online schools have a more flexible schedule, safer environment, and teach the same amount of material in less time.  Virtual schools can innovate in ways traditional schools can’t.  The future of school may be online.
