Holidays are just around the corner, and who doesn't want to add some spice to the family get together? It wouldn't hurt to have some fun! However, keep in mind that holidays should revolve around spending time with people you love; thus, your pranks must be harmless. You don't want to be the one who ruined the holiday, right?

When planning a prank, always consider the victim's feelings. You might not want to perform the prank if it causes harm to property, people, or relationships. As long as you keep these points in mind, everybody will enjoy your trick.

Here are some of the harmless pranks you can pull on your loved ones!

Spider Attack

Be creative enough; turn the holiday into Halloween with fake spiders! String together several fake spiders. After taping the string to the door jam, close the door. There are stuff spiders in the tight space between the door's top and door jam. When your target opens the door, the spiders will fall and pretend to pounce on him. Imagine how shocked your loved one would be upon entering the door.

Lemon or water

This should be good; ready your acting skills with this so they won't hesitate to drink the glass of water. Add a little lemon juice to their water when someone isn't looking. You might also use vinegar or salt in small amounts. Take another sip, and see what they do next. Make sure to watch their reaction!

Rock in the backpack

When someone is packing or preparing their backpack for the holidays, put heavy rocks in it. You can also put rocks secretly when your loved one leaves their bag unattended. Let's see when they will find out!

Dual remote

Purchase a second identical or dual remote. Change the channel while they are watching. Take care not to go overboard with this prank. This is excellent when everyone is seated in front of the television. And your loved one changes the channel, and you do as well. How terrifying would that be?

Lyric prank

A lyric prank is a practical prank that does not require anything; you just have to send many text messages to someone with lyrics to a song. When you are pranking your crush, you can send him the lyrics of “Call me maybe” or “You belong with me.” There has been music for thousands of years. There have been countless styles and artists over the years. There's no reason to be surprised if everything we need to say had already been said decades ago. You can express almost anything through music. Expanding your musical vocabulary is all it takes.

Swap clothes

Swap with the original if you can find the same clothing, but in a smaller size! You may also achieve split pants by repeatedly slicing the cotton along the rear seam of a pair of jeans. However, be prepared to either replace or fix!

Smaller shoes

If you see your family removing their shoes, then it's playtime! Wait for them to wander away from their shoes first, and then make your move. This is just easy; you will have to stuff a sock or napkin in it. If you want, you can stuff it in every shoe you see!

Gooey phone

In this prank, avoid using gum because it can get caught in the victim's hair and cannot be removed. Try putting toothpaste or peanut butter on the earpiece or mouthpiece of your phone. Make sure the person is not allergic to anything you put on their phone. Call the person and watch how he reacts.

Remove the battery from the remote.

Who doesn't watch television during holidays, right? When you do this prank, make sure that nobody is looking, or you have a partner in crime to do this with. When everyone is in front of the television, make your partner volume up the TV, or switch to the channel no one watches in the family. After a few minutes, make your move and remove the battery. Wait for them to get mad at the remote for not working! Tell them to try different methods before you admit that you are the villain.

Fake pregnancy

Ready your acting skills with this one, and make sure everyone is on the table before you do this. A fake pregnancy prank may seem like an obvious joke for most people, but it can be entirely unexpected for parents. The best pranksters make their parents think they're pregnant by bringing an ultrasound photo or spilling water on themselves when they catch their mother looking at them. You can laugh when they present you with the proof and tell them how funny they are. Keeping laughing will cause them to become suspicious and ask questions. And then, it's time to tell them it's just a prank!

Broken TV or broken parent's phone

This prank is effective if you have a smart TV. You can download apps that will make your TV appear cracked or broken. However, if you do not have a smart TV, you can use your parent's smartphone. Download the app, which makes a cell phone screen appear broken, and then show it to them. Just prepare yourself with the yelling!

It would be fun to record the prank and post it on your social media platforms, especially on TikTok! TikTok is one of the most used social media nowadays, and people, even adults, have been scrolling over it without even noticing the time. Share how you spiced up your holidays with your family, and know when is the best time to post on TikTok!
