Holiday Wine Pairings

As the weather cools down and the days grow shorter, we begin looking forward to the holidays. A special time to share with family and friends, good company, and even better food, top off the ambiance with the right wines to share.

Wine is the most popular beverage for Thanksgiving celebrations and pinot noir is the fan favorite. Best served when cool to the touch, pinot noir is light yet rich and pairs well with traditional holiday meal like turkey and sweet potatoes. For the more nontraditional celebrations, though, there are plenty of options to mix and match. Instead of relying only on turkey to hold us over, wines like chardonnay or champagne pair well with seafood and vegan-based dishes.

Whether you’re going home for the holidays or attending a Friendsgiving, choosing the right wines can turn a meal into a celebration. Take a look at this infographic for more on the intricacies of wine pairings and how to find the right ones for your menu.
