Kids Foot Locker partnered with six families who show their passion for sneaker culture in a new series titled “Generations.” The series follows generational relationships between adults and children in New York and Los Angeles, highlighting their common love of sneakers.
The first video features Reebok brand ambassador Teyana Taylor instructing a group of young girls in a dance lesson. In the video, she inspires the next generation, passing down her love of dance, keys to success as a performing artist and personal stories about her daughter Junie.
“I’m thrilled any time I have the opportunity to interact with and inspire young girls. Passing on my knowledge and sharing common bonds is so critical to the next generation’s success,” said performing artist Teyana Taylor. “Kids Foot Locker knows that one generation inspires the next, and sneaker culture is a huge part of that. My daughter Junie already loves fashion and her Reebok Classics, just like her mom.”
The “Generations” series, created by MOFILM, will debut one video per week for the next six weeks. The digital videos follow the relationships between parent and child, coach and player, and a full family, each chronicling their lives and shared love of sneaker culture.
