Up to election night last November, there was no way Donald Trump was going to win the election to become the President of the United States. The polls were not in his favor until the very end of the night, which left many people asking how this happened.

Donald Trump was a very unlikely Presidential candidate. He never served in the military or in a government office. He has been divorced more than all other Presidents in history combined. On paper, he is not likely to be someone who should have won, especially among a conservative base.
