You can’t blame Millennials for being addicted to tech as they were the first generation to come of age with cable TV, the Internet, smartphones, and a plethora of other gadgets that have practically fused mobile technology into Gen Y DNA.
Millennials, aged 18-34 in 2015, now number 75.4 million and are the largest living generation in the United States. Attachment to their beloved “handheld computer” has made it easy for them to become the most on-the-go generation thus far. One out of three Millennials jump online via smartphone rather than with a computer, and that’s no surprise!
Think about it. Most Millennials aren’t used to what it was like to write down directions on an actual piece of paper before heading over to check out a friend’s new house. Or they can barely remember having to go into the bank to deposit a check without snapping a photo on an app.
