How Likely Are You To Get A Divorce Because Of Your Job? [Infographic]

What makes a strong marriage? Apparently it has a lot to do with your job and whether you watch movies with your spouse. If you’re a non movie watching bartender you are probably going to get divorced, according to this infographic.

Some professions have higher divorce rates than others. Massage therapists, nurses and home health aides, and dancers are all in the top ten most likely to get divorced. Long hours and physically demanding jobs can make it harder to keep it together at home.

There are a few things you can do to strengthen your marriage if you are in one of these professions. For starters, split the chores- you’ll be half as likely to divorce. You can also spend more time dating before getting married- if you date more than 3 years you’ll be 39% less likely to divorce. Learn more about careers with the highest divorce rate from this infographic.
