Now is the time to begin thinking about a body transformation before summer comes. A crash diet before a beach trip sometimes doesn’t work and it isn’t a healthy way of getting the body you want. This combined with the fact that people who do crash diets usually gain the weight back makes a lifestyle change the better option as it sticks with a person. There are multiple ways to change your life for the better and help you achieve the body you want for this summer!
Paleo Diet
If you haven’t heard about the Paleo diet recently then you probably don’t have any friends who are obsessed with Crossfit. The Paleo diet is also called the caveman diet as dieters only eat foods that were available during the Paleolithic era. This means that there is no bread, rice, milk (although some versions allow milk), or any processed foods. This increases the vegetable and fruit intake as well as lean meat intake. Many people have found great results with this diet as well as not feeling an after lunch crash that many people who eat processed foods and sugars get on a daily basis. Combine this with a workout regimen and your summer body will be here more quickly than you think.
Bike To Work
In some cities biking to work just isn’t an option but there are plenty where it is the preferred form of transportation for many. Biking to work allows you to commute while getting into shape. Not to mention the stress from traffic disappears as well as tolls and gas expenses. There are cities where it is wise to sell your car and rely on your bike because of traffic or accessible public transportation. If biking to work isn’t an option then adopt a small resolution like taking the stairs instead of the elevator. This can shape up your legs and eliminate the possibility of being stuck in an elevator on a Friday afternoon.
Alternative Options
There are plenty of body contouring options but one stands apart and this is Coolsculpting. What is Coolsculpting? It is the process of freezing fat cells to reduce fat in hard to sculpt places like the stomach or love handles. The fat cells freeze and then are processed by the body as dead cells leaving the receiver of the treatment with a more sculpted desired region. This is a great option for those who already have an exercise program but just can’t get rid of stubborn fat. It is also a great option for those who just can’t fit a workout into their busy schedule but still want to look great.
High Intensity Interval Training
For someone who doesn’t want to spend countless hours in the gym to get the body they want, HIIT or high interval intensity training can help with a short but effective workout. A sample of a quick workout could be something like a minute sprint then a minute walk following by a minute of box jumps then a minute of walking. Do this five times and in 20 minutes a beginning could begin to transform their body with HIIT. Similar things are done for elite level swimmers as they utilize interval training with each practice.
Getting the body you want can happen in a matter of months if you dedicate yourself to it. Trying a few of these things also wouldn’t hurt either. Good luck on your fitness endeavor!
