We can’t make a difference if we’re not aware of the problem. We’ve all heard of Muscular Dystrophy, even if it hasn’t touched the life of a loved one we personally hold dear. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is the most common, as well as, the most aggressive form of Muscular Dystrophy. It occurs almost exclusively in boys, and its diagnosis comes about when a child is around two years old. Duchenne causes progressive weakening of muscle tissues and is 100% fatal. These boys are given a death sentence before they have barely begun to live.
