Life’s A Gas! Gas, Hybrid and Electric Cars [Infographic]

While there is no denying that hybrids and electric cars are better for the environment. But compared to gas cars, how well do they really stack up and is it worth it to shell out the time and money for a hybrid or electric vehicle? Take a look at this infographic for all the answers.

When compared to gas cars, hybrid’s go a lot farther on a full tank of gas but do run a few thousand dollars higher. While electric cars take several hours to charge and can go just 75 miles on a full charge there are some pretty sweet tax breaks that are available.
For installing residential alternative fueling equipment for electric cars there is a tax credit of a thousand dollars for those installed before December 31, 2013. Tax rebates can range from $1,000 t0 $20,000 for zero emissions vehicles.
