The Cloud is influencing the business landscape in unimaginable ways. By the end of 2013, it’s projected that the public Cloud will grow by $131 billion. The revolution is changing the way we conduct business. With Cloud’s automatic updates, it’s either keep up or get completely blown away. Amazon Web Services launched over 130 system updates between January 2011 and September 2012, which is about once every five days. There’s no more having to way for crucial edition fixes.
Cloud standardizes IT and increases device compatibility, allowing employees to use their personal devices in the workspace. The average U.S. employee saved 81 minutes with BYOD per week. Some 89 percent of companies worldwide currently offer BYOD. Cloud also allows employees to “dial into” corporate systems and work remotely, which results in increased productivity and higher levels of satisfaction. The Cloud reduces the need for server management and maintenance, which means more time for the tech savvies to do their thing and innovate.
