How To Negotiate A Higher Salary [Infographic]

It can be very uncomfortable to negotiate a raise or higher salary. A significant portion of both men and women report feeling anxiety at the thought of trying to negotiate a raise—almost 40%. When negotiating your salary, plan everything to a T: Know your company’s compensation policies, keep score by maintaining documents that track the things you want to highlight, and time it just right. These can help you show what you’ve done, rather than just telling, and will make a memorable (and favorable) impression.
