The Car of the Future [Infographic]

At one point or another you have probably dreamed of having a chauffeur. Well dream no more, self-driving cars are in our near future. Yes, that’s right. Soon we will have cars that drive themselves.

Years ago the idea might have seemed farfetched, but now it seems like a normal progression. Auto-makers are now testing self-driving cars, and in 2040 autonomous cars will account for up to 75% of vehicles on the road.

Self-driving cars also have many benefits. They are programmed to follow local traffic laws, and will make distracted, tired, or impaired drivers less dangerous on the road. Not to mention they are down right cool.
