Baconomy: the Art of Bacon Barter [Infographic]

Imagine traveling across the United States with nothing but bacon to use as currency for your food, lodging and any other necessities you might need along the way. Seems pretty farfetched right? Well, it’s a reality for this guy, Josh Sankey. As part of a strategic promotional plan by Oscar Mayer, Sankey was hired to travel from New York to L.A. with only bacon to barter with. The idea is to see if Americans really do love bacon as much as they say they do.
