Is your granny sitting at home depressed and lonely? Introduce her to the world of online gaming. It’ll keep her mind sharp, fill her extra time, allow her to interact and also make new friends. It isn’t uncommon for senior citizens to play online games, actually, over a quarter of gamers are over the age of 50.

It’s no wonder so many senior citizens playing games are on the rise, 53% of their community are internet capable. Of those seniors online, between 2009 and 2011, senior internet grew 150%! When introducing granny to the world of internet gaming, be sure to monitor and make sure granny isn’t becoming an addict. WIth 1 in 5 women leaving their husband or boyfriend due to neglect linked to too much gaming, it is best to be on the lookout. If you start to see your grandmother having headaches, backaches, bags under her eyes and sore hands, it is best to have her take some time AFK (away from keyboard).
