This past weekend the rumor mill started to churn regarding new iOS devices and release dates. As with all Apple rumors you need to take them with a grain of salt. With that said, it appears that today AllTingsD has confirmed that Apple is planning an event for the week of September 12th; which earlier today iMore had announced.
However, that is all that AllThingsD is reporting. They have not said what Apple will be presenting or release dates. John Paczkowski from AllThingsD tell us:
“And while we haven’t yet confirmed its focus, history suggests it will indeed be the new iPhone. One thing’s for certain, though: Apple is ramping up for a big fall product cycle.”
If the rumors of a new iPhone, iPad Mini, iPod Touch, and iPod Nano come to fruition; this will be a big Fall season for Apple. Not to mention a huge Christmas season for them as well.
