It looks like Apple has come up with a great plan by adding Epix Movie Channel on Apple TV.

According to two people who spoke on condition of anonymity, the two companies talked about permitting Apple to stream films via an application that will be integrated on Apple TV for all current Epix subscribers. The talks between Apple and Epix said to have started at the beginning of this year and as of now, no new meetings are in progress.
Setting aside the talks with Apple, Epix together with Netflix has a deal to provide films from the former 90 days after first airing on Pay-TV channel such as Dish Network Corporation. The agreement restrains Epix from dealing to other subscription outlets according to Steve Swasey, spokesman of Netflix. The agreement will expire at the end of the year.
Here’s brief information about Epix: It is a company which offers premium movies via pay-TV and on app-to-console like Xbox 360. This one is a joint venture of Lions Gate Entertainment, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Viacom Inc.’s Paramount Pictures which is accessible in more than 30 million homes.
The companies were asked about the deal but both Epix and Apple failed to comment on the said issue.
