Curating SXSW 2012 With Pinterest

Going to SXSW 2012? If so certainly you’ve got your bags packed, you schedule somewhat laid out and your party list in order.

Then again, maybe you don’t. SXSW is always an ever-evolving experience and regardless of how much you may plan for it ahead of time, something new pops up seemingly at the spur-of-the-moment.

A colleague of mine, Shira Lazar, just brought my attention to an interesting experiment that is happening with the Social InterWeb this year as folks are planning their SXSW interactions.

Over on Pinterest there is a board titled “Guide to SXSW Interactive 2012“. This board is comprised of 140+ collaborators pinning their favorite SXSW Interactive events, parties, meetups, venues, photos, experiences and destinations.

If you’re going to Austin next week, I highly recommend you check this out.
