Noisey College Tour 2011

Man how I miss those college days. Eating ramen noodles, cramming for exams, dancing and partying every other night.

Even though those days are far behind me, I still enjoy kicking on campuses around my area just to feel that energetic vibe.

Along those lines, I will definitely be attending the Noisey College Tour when it comes around my way.

Just last week Dell and Intel, in conjunction with VICE Media, announced the first-ever Noisey College Tour, a ten-city college campus tour that kicks off on October 24 featuring Bay Area rapper Kreayshawn and chillwave rocker Neon Indian.

Check out this video interview of¬†Kreayshawn talking about her upbringing, music influences and the whole experience of planning for the tour thus far. I love how she gives credit to “the school of the internet” for her seemingly overnight online success:

Oct 25 Columbia, MO – University of Missouri’s The Blue Note
Oct 26 Urbana, IL – University of Illinois’ The Canopy Club
Oct 27 Ames, IA – Iowa State’s The Maintenance Shop
Oct 28 Madison, WI – University of Wisconsin’s The Sett at Union South
Oct 31 North Hampton – Smith College’s Carroll Room
Nov 1 Syracuse, NY – Syracuse University’s Goldstein Auditorium
Nov 2 Hempstead, NY – Hofstra University’s North Campus
Nov 3 Providence, RI – Providence College’s Peterson Recreation Center
Nov 4 Brunswick, ME – Bowdoin College’s Morrell Lounge

Here’s the best part. The tour is FREE to students who RSVP and open to the general public in select cities.
