Internet Safety Video [circa 1990’s]

Being a father of 2 kids under the age of 10 – I thought it worthwhile to share an Internet Safety video.

This video was part of the Internet and Street Smarts Safety Tips for Kids series developed back in 1998.

The video, as The Next Web’s Courtney Boyd Myers says, can make you feel a bit awkward.

However, it is true – there are crazy people online, and things are exponentially more dangerous now than they were 12 years ago.

That being said, parents take heed and be vigilant to what your children do online.

Major shout out to Gawker and The Next Web, since they’re the locations that I saw this at first
