Coming tomorrow, as he promised…Damon Albarn and Gorillaz will be releasing their new album on Christmas Day.
What's cool about this? Well, Gorillaz fans have been undoubtedly been waiting, and us technology fans are curious and anxious, because this entire album was produced on Damon's Apple iPad.
Oh yeah – the album will be available as a free download too !!
Along with the music tracks, a free music video from one of the songs on the new album is available today, Christmas Eve.
Albarn, mentioned in a recent interview, “…if I left it until the new year to release it, then the cynics out there would say, ‘Oh well, it's been tampered with.' But if I put it out now, they'd know that I haven't done anything because I've been on tour ever since.”
