Oh it's been months of trial and tribulation for us fans of the iApp Camera+.
Those in the iPhone/iPod Touch user community may recall the hack that was introduced a few months ago, allowing users to use the volume controls to snap your photos with Camera+. Well, Apple did not like that at all and quickly pulled the application from the App Store. You can read a great review of the original version on Macgasm here.
All that being said – Camera+ is back and, my goodness, it's looking better than ever.
I am not even going to try to run down the full list of updates and enhancements; per the post in the iTunes App Store there are over 50 updates. My personal favorites from the list of updates are:
- Reworked much of the user interface so that it’s more unified and much more intuitive
- Improved operation of stabilizer
- Added Depth of Field effect
- Addition of many border options
If you already had the app on your iDevice, this 2.0 update is FREE.
If you're brand new to Camera+ then you can grab hold of this phenomenal app for only 99 cents (limited time price).
Congratulations to the whole Tap Tap Tap team (@taptaptap) for working through the hurdles with Infinite Loop and getting your product back available for users.
