Richie Zyontz, Fox's lead NFL game producer had his team explicitly train some cameras on the center of the field and the roof – they knew something was going to happen…Zyontz told USA Today that the camera setup “…was specifically for the roof collapsing…”
According to Zyontz, the video crew had heard from stadium maintenance workers that the roof was becoming a real problem and that collapses had occurred in the past.
