Thursday, February 18th was National Introduce A Girl To Engineering Day. I love that recognition since I have a young daughter who, at the tender age of 8, knows way more about technology and computing than I would expect.
That aside, many organizations had events planned to showcase how cool it is to be in the engineering field. One such company was AT&T; I'm recognizing them individually since they have many of us iPhone users attached at the hip (that's a whole other blog post for another day…)
In the video below you'll see women from AT&T Labs hosting local high school girls from the Youth Science Achievers Program in New Jersey, and from St. Louis, MO. Students had the opportunity to shadow AT&T women scientists who work at the Labs. Cool stuff.
