Check Out The Sony 'Bloggie'

Sony has used the CES show as the appropriate backdrop to unveil their new handheld HD camcorder the ‘bloggie’.

I posted a tweet this morning asking the question what was the difference between the bloggie, the webbie that they released last year and the market share leader, the Flip Mino.

From the below video that was on CNN, you’ll see an interview right on the CES showfloor that answers and shows the features of the product.

I still need to physically get my hands on one to do some usability tests, but this device is looking really promising (I especially like the 360 degree viewing attachment available for the PM5 model and the fact that Sony has finally integrated SD card capability).

  1. So I write this article and lean towards going with the Bloggie, but can't find the thing anywhere – so what do I do?? I go out and buy the Kodak zi8. Expect a product review here on THE Tech Scoop in the coming days
