Scanning the news over the last day I've noticed that some people in the blogosphere are giving President Obama grief for telling the story about his daughter, Malia's 73 grade on a science test.

I'm not understanding the problem. He goes on to summarize how he and Michelle talked to their daughter on what she was going to do in order to improve that grade – she eventually did get an A on a subsequent test – thus lesson learned, good parenting, move on…

Now, the real INFOtainment story here should be the mental wrangling that went through Malia's teacher's mind as she was giving the First Daughter a low C on a test. Oh to be a fly on the wall in the room that evening.
