Hell’s Kitchen just got a little bit hotter !!

TV chef Gordon Ramsay, in hot water after having his apparent extramarital appetite exposed, has appeared with his wife in London.

Ramsay, the world’s highest-earning cook, was sprung at a posh London hotel with “professional mistress” Sarah Symonds, according to weekend media reports.

It is reported to be the latest liaison in a seven-year affair that spans more than half his marriage. The 42-year-old chef has been married to Tana for 12 years and has four children aged five to nine.

In the wake of the report. the pair had little to say to the press after spending the morning Christmas shopping at Harrods and buying ingredients for a family Sunday roast, Telegraph.co.uk reports.

The foul-mouthed chef posed with his arms around a smiling Tana after returning to their London home in a chauffer-driven Mercedes and made no mention of his private life.

Ramsay refused to answer any questions and would only say: “It’s time for Sunday lunch. I’m starving.” He and 33-year-old Tana then entered their house arm-in-arm without another word.

Ramsay’s spokesman said: “There is no comment to make at all. They had gone to Harrods for some Christmas shopping and I think to get some things for Sunday lunch. Everything is fine. Life is good and business is good.”

Ramsay has previously described his wife as “the only woman who can turn me on. Tana is my wife, my lover and the person I want in my bed and in my arms every night”.

But Ramsay, the foulest mouth in food, was seen leaving the 38-year-old blonde Ms Symonds after 75 minutes at the $920-a-room Marriott Hotel.

Ms Symonds’ past lovers include author-MP Jeffrey Archer. She has written a book of advice for mistresses and been interviewed by Oprah Winfrey on the subject.

Yesterday, beneath the headline “Cheat and Two Veg”, London’s News of the World tabloid exposed the alleged affair.

It reported Ms Symonds arrived first at the five-star hotel and then went shopping for supplies.

She bought two bottles of wine, potato chips and legal sex drugs from a sex shop.

Ms Symonds is said to have met Ramsay in 2001, months after revealing her liaison with Lord Archer.

Last year she wrote a book, Having an Affair? A Handbook for the Other Woman.

She has declined to discuss her relationship with Ramsay. “I’ve got nothing to say on the matter,” she said at the weekend.

The affair with Ramsay reportedly went off the boil in 2004, but began to heat up again last year.

Ramsay, who stars in The F Word, plans to open a Melbourne restaurant at Crown in 2010.

His family are a critical part of his image and regularly appear in his TV shows.

In the UK in 2006 he was voted Celebrity Father of the Year and last year the Ramsays were Celebrity Family of the Year.
