The folks at Gizmodo did a nice piece on how to conserve some of that precious battery for those that have either the new 3G iPhone or who upgraded their original unit to the 2.0 firmware.

What it all boils down to is…if you don’t need something running, don’t have it sucking up all your juice in the background just because it’s “cool”
