Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, defending proposed budget cuts in a series of town meetings, has come face to face with city residents critical of plans to close 11 of 54 branches of the Free Library of Philadelphia. At a meeting recently, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Nutter seemed unswayed by chants of “Let us read” and “Save Engine 6.”
The guy in the video is all broken up about this state of events. I kinda feel sorry for the dude.
