It's been 10 years…
As we in the U.S. prepare to mark the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks I felt compelled to write something. Every year since I've published a tribute and remembrance post, but this year feels different.
Don't know if it's because so much has happened (negative and positive) since that early September morning (I, like many of you remember vividly what I was doing at the time of impact).
Regardless, as a global community, not just the United States, let's dedicate ourselves to good. Focus on the positive. Strive to do better and in the end, remember those that are no longer here.
Take 5 minutes from your daily schedule and watch the video below. It's a slidedeck of images from this war on terror. The music is John Legend's “Coming Home“. If you feel like sharing this post and commenting – do. If you don't that's fine as well. Sharing this was just something that was on my heart.

The Great Boatlift of 9|11 – An Untold Tale of Resilience
Remember
This is the thing about Americans – when someone needs help, they jump right in there and help. Adversity and terror cannot keep Americans down – they rise to the occasion and do what needs to get done. You have to be proud of the people on these boats who helped strangers escape a hell on earth and did so without knowing whether they, themselves, would then become targets. God Bless America and America.
