Canadian Women’s Hockey Team Party Like Rock Stars

The Canadian women’s hockey team has won a gold medal in the Olympics – LET THEM CELEBRATE !!

I don’t see any problem with a bit of letting ones hair down after many challenging games against, literally, the best players on the planet.

Now, the riding of the Zamboni across the ice, that may have been a bit much, but the celebratory cigar with some champagne and a few pictures in the center of the rink…all good.

Obviously, I would have preferred if the U.S.A. won, but irregardless…congratulations Canada for the victory on your “home ice”

Tiger Back On The Golf Course

Tiger Woods hits the golf course and is seen publicly for the first time on the greens in Windermere, Florida on this past Thursday, February 18 – one day before his big apology press conference is scheduled for 11am EST at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse.

As more news comes out regarding his press conference we’ll update this post and look for your feedback/commentary.

After going through the initial emotions of winning her gold medal at the Winter Olympics. Lindsey Vonn took a moment to write something to her friends and fans over on her Facebook fan page and her Twitter page.

The note is titled “Mixed emotions”

First off I want to congratulate Maria, Julia, and Anya on their great performances today they did a great job and it was cool to see Maria get the gold medal that she deserves! P&G Thanks Olympic Moms

[via: BrandWeek] Procter & Gamble is feeling generous at this year’s Olympic Winter Games. The packaged goods maker is sending Team USA’s mothers to Vancouver to watch their children compete, as part of a program called “Thanks, Mom.”

The program, announced Thursday will defray the cost of travel and accommodations, allowing moms to support the athletes in person during the Games. P&G is also running a campaign, which celebrates the special people in the lives of Team USA’s members.
