How Do You Make A Brand Message Understandable?

Building a brand takes time. There’s a lot of stages involved, and there’s a lot of work to be done to get through each and every one. You’ve got to be sure you like the final design you post out there, and you’ve got to be sure it delivers your business or brand message when people see it

Your brand message is the crux of who you are, and why you do what you do. And that means your brand needs a message, and that message needs to be recognizable and fairly understandable by the market. How do you make sure you’re sending out such a message, each and every time you run a new marketing campaign, or go for a redesign in your logo? Well, you follow tips like those below.

Start with Your Employees

Your employees are the first people who should understand your brand message. They work for you, and they represent you, and that means every action at work should be done with your message in mind.

Dealing with a customer, most of all, is where an employee’s recognition and support is going to shine the most. They need to deliver a warm and welcoming service, that helps a customer to recognise your business as a friendly and reliable company to make use of.

Make it Interesting

If you want people to pay attention to your brand message, and long enough for them to read it and make sense of it, you need to make it interesting to look at in the first place. No one looks at an advert and is immediately drawn to the subtle lettering and fancy words that you may have placed there. No, they’re looking for big and colorful images that can help them put the information together in just a few seconds!

So, make sure your design is eye catching. Make sure it’s colorful, and has an interesting image or collection of images that help draw the eye and make someone wonder. You could also make use of this in the office, for both employees and visitors alike. Design your Own Stencil with your brand message, print it out and get it shipped off to you, and then roll it out and roll it onto a wall.

Keep it Simple

And finally, make sure your brand message is kept simple. Of course, that doesn’t mean it can’t be clever! A lot of brands incorporate clever images into their design, and they’re left with a neat package that stands out to everyone who looks at it, but the message is still simple in nature. Remember, less is more, and you can always add a bit more over time once you’ve established your message in the first place!

Your brand message sends out what kind of company you are, and what you can do for a customer. Make sure you keep this in mind when making up your logo and message, and trying to put the two together.
