In less than 10 months, from March 2018 to December, after the Fortnite release on IOS, the game saw 83 million all-time downloads and $64 million in monthly revenue. Last year Clash of Clans was the top growing gaming app generating $1.54 million per day. All of this was made possible because of artificial intelligence within gaming. Mobile games were one of the first techs that utilized augmented reality and today 81% of U.S. gamers have played an AR game at least once. In fact, gaming can make you become a better entrepreneur.

In fact, Pokemon Go, one of the top AR games, has a revenue of $1.9 billion currently. AI’s use in games creates features such as pathfinding and non-player characters as well as allows for better gameplay through its ability to adapt and generate new content. In the next generation of in-game AI, the ability for characters to learn and grow and for gamer personalization which adapts to what an individual player likes will be introduced.
