I probably shouldn't mention competitors, so I won't…but I do also have a pair of headphones from a major competitor of Sony and they tout their noise cancelling capabilities all the time – truth be told – Sony wins! There's a fancy new QN1 HD Noise Canceling Processor in these WH-1000XM3 headphones that just makes these 40mm drivers sound so sweet.
If you're traveling – have no fear. 30 hours of battery life, plus you'll get 5 hours of playback on just a quick 10 minute charge. Also check those specs above again…see that line about Atmospheric Pressure optimization – I personally can't wait to check that feature out.
Folks look, long story short – I'm a fan. I only write and review about stuff I actually like and/or use. Yeah I'm working with the Sony and Best Buy team on this coverage, but again – I already own Sony headphones so am being completely unbiased in this review.
