When was the last time you did yoga in the office? What about squats? Went for a walk down the block? If you are a sedentary office worker you need to be getting more exercise throughout the day, not just the hour you go to the gym after work. Every hour you should be getting up and moving for five minutes, whether that means going for a walk, doing some squats, or just stretching. But that’s not all you should be doing to maintain your health while you are at work.

Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and ditch the sodas, diet or otherwise. Stop putting dairy into your coffee and substitute virgin coconut oil instead. Ensure you are getting plenty of vegetables in your diet, and most importantly avoid the processed junk that fills the office vending machine.
