Giving Back is Good for Business [Infographic]

Giving to charity is important and necessary.  But did you know it can also help your business?  There are many benefits to charitable giving, starting with improving the community in which you live and work.  It can also build team rapport and improve job satisfaction.  When employees see their company cares, they start to care more about the company.

In a recent survey, employees and customers were the main reasons companies decided to give to charity.  The most common means of giving to charity were corporate and foundation cash, but there are many ways for a company to give.  Volunteer service days and pro bono work are both great non-cash ways for your company to give to charity.  Offering a paid-release volunteer day for your employees is a great way to ease into charitable giving, and this phenomenon is on the rise in corporate America.  Learn more about corporate giving from this infographic.
