What Can Be Learned From Animals? [Infographic]

They say dogs are mans’ best friend, but countless animals throughout time have bonded with and developed lasting and meaningful relationships with humans. Whether for hunting and survival purposes, or entertainment and companionship, we can learn so much about animals by interacting with them, and even more about ourselves.

Back in the 1960s, John Rendall and Ace Bourke bought Christian the lion from Harrod’s Department Store. They raised the cub together until he became too big, and with the help of George Adamson, they helped return Christian to the wilds of Kenya through a man-made pride. A year later, Ace and John visited Christian out in the wild where they were both instantly accepted by the other members of the pride.
