Kaijudo Dragon Master Collection Kit
The folks over at Wizards of the Coast/Kaijudo have recently released the Kaijduo Dragon Master Collection Kit – for the storage, display of your Kaijudo cards. With it you can house up to 120 sleeved cards or even more if you’re just using it to carry around your decks for play (which is what I’m most likely to do).
“Celebrating the dragons of the five civilizations, this deluxe kit will super-power any duel. Three copies each of two all-new super-rare foil dragons lurk inside as well as a pocket-size Dragon Book, an accordion-style portfolio that lets collectors show off their 20 most beloved Kaijudo cards at Kaijudo League events or wherever they go!” (press release 2/19/2013)
Yes, it says “Three copies of the all-new super-rare foil dragons” – That’s worth the price of admission right there. The accordion book is nice if you’re collecting and saving the rare cards – It’ll keep greasy fingers off the cards but the sleeves are flexible so it won’t save them from being bent in careless hands – so Beware!
With the kit you also get for booster pack from Rise of the Duel Masters – and there are code cards to use with the Kaijudo Online game. “Creatures from the game are also featured in the Kaijudo TV series that airs Saturdays on The Hub TV Network and TeleToon in Canada.” (press release, 2/19/2013)
If you’re a Kaijudo enthusiast, this is a great kit to expand and show off your collection. You get features and items from each of the main areas (creatures linked to tv show, codes for online games, booster packs and cards for physical game play). It covers all the bases. The retail price appears to be $19.99 but with a simple google search I was able to find it for as low as $14.19. I’d suggest supporting your local comic shop, but that’s just me.
