HicksNewMedia had the pleasure of being invited to attend the LG Optimus G smartphone launch party on October 10, 2012.

To be honest with you I have been a hardcore iPhone fan since it’s inception and really wanted to go so that I could try and prove there is no smartphone better.

However, after finally getting my hands on the new LG floor model during the event, I was convinced the Optimus G would give the iPhone a run for it’s money.

From it’s durable exterior and flat body to it’s user friendly setup and quick to respond interface, the new Optimus G is nothing less than extraordinary.

The launch party was outstanding and the LG Optimus G was well deserving of the remarkable turnout.

The Optimus G features impressive specifications including Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core CPU Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage memory, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2100mAh Li-Polymer battery and a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display.
Sprint’s variant comes equipped with a 13-megapixel camera while the AT&T version will feature an 8-megapixel shooter.
The software on the smartphone features QSlide Function, which allows it to show two different screens simultaneously.
