Zion I, the super-duo from the badlands of Oakland, drop their 7th album, Shadowboxing on October 2. 7 albums in hip-hop is becoming less and less rare with each generation. Nonetheless, a milestone for any group of any generation. Zion I are known for some of the most innovative beats, and, socially conscious lyrics in music today. Consisting of DJ Amp Lie and MC Zumbi, the Hometown-Heroes of the O will be hitting the road to push Shadowboxing. Till then, catch them at the North Coast and Rock the Bells music festivals.
