AT&T has announced a new wireless audio system that offers professional-grade sound engineering to play music from your phone, the way that musicians want you to hear it.
Musician in particular – Dr. Dre, through his newly branded Beatbox.
I’m not sure, or how long this exclusive offer will last with Dre and this Beatbox, but the specs on the unit are:
- Portable inputs that provide a built-in Dock Connector for smartphones or portable music players, plus Bluetooth wireless
- Full-featured remote with On/Off, Volume, Mute, Scan and Skip buttons
- Easy-carry handles on both sides
- The ability to operate on either 6 D-cell batteries or a computer power supply
- A 5.25 inch woofer and 3.5 MM input for other sources
The Beatbox Portable is the perfect mobile sound system,” says Luke Wood, President & Chief Operating Officer of Beats by Dr. Dre. “In addition to having the advantage of Bluetooth wireless technology and battery-powered portability, the Beatbox Portable delivers the power and emotion found in all Beats By Dr. Dre products.
As with all Dre products, the price isn’t cheap, but you expect to pay for high quality. So this new Beatbox is going to run you $399 and will be available beginning March 11th.
