I've realized that I don't get to see as many movies as I'd like to anymore.

Maybe it's the price of the outing (2 adults 2 kids, a couple bags of popcorn, some drinks, oh and a coffee for me).

Regardless, after recently seeing the fantastic film, Red Tails, I want to get back to the theater more and experience the full surround sound experience of a film at the theater.

One of our authors already has a segment called “Night at the Movies with Eric…” but I'm going to take a different approach. Instead of reviewing movies, I'm going to preview a handful of movies based on how the trailer grabs me.

For this first post I actually have 7 flicks that look promising:

Safe House – A young CIA agent is tasked with looking after a fugitive in a safe house. But when the safe house is attacked, he finds himself on the run with his charge.

Battleship – A fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals.

The Avengers – Nick Fury and the international agency S.H.I.E.L.D. bring together a team of super humans to form The Avengers to help save the Earth from Loki & his various membered army.

Think Like A Man – Four friends conspire to turn the tables on their women when they discover the ladies have been using Steve Harvey's relationship advice against them.

Men in Black III – Agent J travels in time to MIB's early years in the 1960s, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history.

The Amazing Spider-Man – Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner.

The Dark Knight Rises – Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to their limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent's crimes.
