Turntable.fm has blessed us with a gift today – they have launched their iOS application.

Now, not only are you able to rock the wheels of steel in your desktop browser, but you can now fire up your iPhone or iPod touch and create or join rooms and enjoy your tunes with your musically inclined friends.

For a Rev. 1 this is extremely slick. Turntable.fm was able to seamlessly bring over the user experience of the web-based version to the iOS app. Due to the small screen of the iPhone, the only challenge I've noticed thus far is if you're in a popular room, things get a bit crowded.

Chatting with others in the room is ridiculously simple, and sharing what your playing in a room is also ridiculously simple.

Obviously I'm quite bullish on this platform – been using it since pretty darn close to day 1 which was only about 3 months ago, but make your own determination…If you like music, and you've tried turntable.fm I highly recommend you checking the app out.
